Optimont inc., was founded in 1992 by Christian Morin and started its manufacturing operations during the summer of 2000, with a complete line of automated surface mount assembly equipment, and one single employee.  Thanks to Frédéric, the first employee, for committing to this adventurous undertaking with such courage.
 
The company now employs 50 electronic assembly professionals at its Brossard factory, with an equipment set encompassing all steps of the manufacturing process for increased capacity.  Every year, it assembles millions of components, on hundreds of thousands of products, for thousands of projects, for about a hundred different industrial customers.
